In his capacity as Senior Manager, Compliance Officer, and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), Mr. Heeramun has successfully led multidisciplinary teams across Administration, Compliance, Accounting, and Finance. His leadership has been instrumental in managing complex client structures, including companies, trusts, foundations, special licence entities, IBCs, and associations, across multiple jurisdictions.

He has played a pivotal role in strengthening compliance functions within Management Companies, spearheading the development and implementation of corporate policies, governance frameworks, and operational workflows. His expertise includes overseeing inspections by the Mauritius Financial Services Commission (FSC) and representing companies in high-level engagements with the Prime Minister’s Office, AML/CFT Central CID, and other regulatory bodies.

Beginning his career in 2014 as a Corporate Administrator and Accounts Officer, Mr. Heeramun has evolved into a seasoned expert in corporate administration, company secretarial matters, and compliance. Today, he serves as an approved officer and non-executive director for several licensed entities, including Management Companies, Collective Investment Schemes, Investment Dealers, Securities Trading Systems, and Virtual Asset Service Providers.
